CactusCover (For Sellers)

CactusCover helps protect sellers on the MitchCactus Marketplace from payment-related risks while providing a structured protection process for buyers and sellers throughout the transaction.

Protection is built into eligible marketplace orders automatically. There is no separate activation required.

When Does CactusCover Start? 🛡️

Seller protection begins when a buyer successfully pays for an order and continues throughout the transaction.

This includes:

  • Order processing and delivery
  • The buyer's review period
  • Applicable warranty periods
  • Payment disputes or chargebacks
  • Any dispute being reviewed by MitchCactus

MitchCactus manages the payment process so sellers can focus on fulfilling orders rather than dealing directly with payment providers.

Payment Protection 🔒

Online transactions can occasionally involve fraudulent payments, unauthorized transactions, chargebacks, or payment-provider disputes.

For legitimate orders fulfilled correctly through MitchCactus, our platform manages these processes on your behalf.

What This Means for Sellers

  • MitchCactus handles communication with payment providers
  • You are not expected to respond directly to card or payment disputes
  • Relevant order information and delivery evidence can be used to defend legitimate transactions
  • Payment-related issues are reviewed through MitchCactus rather than directly between you and the buyer
  • Eligible sellers remain protected in accordance with our Seller Rules and marketplace policies

Keep all communication and delivery evidence on MitchCactus. This gives our team the information needed to properly review an order if an issue occurs.

Additional Protection Periods

Certain products require an additional protection period after delivery because the seller previously had control or ownership of what was transferred.

This is particularly important for products such as accounts, codes, and gift cards, where access or ownership may need to remain secure after the initial delivery.

Product Category

Standard Protection Period

Accounts

Typically 7–14 days, depending on the listing

Fortnite Accounts

10 days

Rainbow Six Siege Accounts

10 days

Gift Cards

5 days — Coming Soon

Other Products

No additional post-completion period required*

*Many products do not require an extended warranty after successful delivery. For example, currency or items permanently transferred through an in-game trade are generally protected through the normal order and dispute process instead.

When Does the Protection Period Begin? ⏱️

The applicable post-delivery protection period begins once:

  • The buyer confirms successful delivery, or
  • The order automatically completes after the buyer's review period

During this time, the seller's funds may remain pending before becoming available for withdrawal.

The exact timeframe depends on the product and applicable protection or warranty requirements.

What Can Buyers Report During This Period?

For eligible products, buyers may raise issues such as:

  • Loss of account access
  • Incorrect or non-working credentials
  • Account recovery
  • Account details being changed after delivery
  • The product being materially different from the listing
  • Other issues covered by the applicable warranty

If a claim is raised, MitchCactus may temporarily keep the relevant funds pending while the issue is reviewed.

This does not automatically mean the buyer will receive a refund.

Both sides can provide information and evidence, and our Resolution Team will determine the appropriate outcome.

What Happens If a Dispute Is Opened?

If a buyer opens a dispute:

  1. The relevant funds remain protected while the case is reviewed.
  2. You'll have an opportunity to respond and provide evidence.
  3. Our Resolution Team reviews the listing, order chat, delivery information, and evidence from both sides.
  4. A resolution is determined based on the circumstances and applicable policies.

Possible outcomes may include:

  • The original delivery being confirmed as valid
  • Correcting or completing the delivery
  • Providing a replacement
  • A partial refund
  • A full refund

A dispute is a review process. It does not automatically mean the seller has lost the order.

When Are Funds Released? 💰

Once the applicable holding and protection requirements have been satisfied, seller earnings move toward the available balance according to the normal payout process.

Release times can vary depending on:

  • Product category
  • Applicable warranty
  • Seller history
  • Open disputes
  • Fraud or payment-risk reviews
  • Other marketplace risk factors

If an eligible dispute is opened before the protection period ends, the relevant funds may remain pending until the case is resolved.
