General Seller Rules

These rules apply to all sellers and listings on MitchCactus and are designed to keep the marketplace safe, reliable, and fair for both buyers and sellers.

⚠️ Breaking these rules may result in listings being removed, restrictions being placed on your account, or temporary or permanent suspension.

If you sell accounts, you should also review our Account Seller Rules, which include additional requirements specific to account sales.

Delivering Orders 📦

Deliver orders on time

You must deliver orders within the delivery timeframe shown on your listing.

Occasional issues can happen, but repeated late deliveries, cancellations, or failure to fulfil orders may result in your listings being restricted or removed.

Late or partial deliveries

If you cannot complete an order within the promised timeframe, or can only deliver part of it, communicate with the buyer first and obtain their agreement.

Delivering late or partially without the buyer's approval may result in the buyer receiving a refund if a dispute is raised.

Only mark orders as delivered when complete

An order should only be marked as delivered once everything included in the purchase has actually been provided.

Do not mark an order as delivered early to stop the delivery timer or before the buyer has received the full purchase.

Doing so may result in a refund to the buyer and action against your seller account.

Respond to new orders promptly

Sellers are expected to actively monitor their orders and respond to buyers within a reasonable timeframe.

For manually fulfilled orders, an initial response helps confirm that you've seen the order and are working on delivery.

Repeatedly leaving orders unattended or failing to respond may result in cancellations or restrictions on your listings.

Prohibited Actions 🚫

Scamming or fraud

Any attempt to scam, defraud, mislead, or intentionally disadvantage a buyer is strictly prohibited.

Confirmed fraudulent activity may result in a permanent ban and withholding of relevant seller funds while affected orders are investigated or refunded.

Off-platform communication

Communication relating to an order should remain within the MitchCactus order chat wherever possible.

Do not attempt to move buyers to Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, Skype, or other external platforms in order to avoid our systems or conduct transactions privately.

Where an external service is genuinely required to complete a particular product or service, it must only be used for that legitimate delivery purpose.

External payments

All payments must be processed through MitchCactus.

You must not:

• Request payment directly from a buyer
• Offer a discount for paying outside MitchCactus
• Share external payment details
• Arrange future private transactions with MitchCactus customers

Attempting to move a transaction off-platform may result in permanent suspension.

Advertising

Do not advertise or redirect buyers to:

• Your own website or store
• Another marketplace
• External selling profiles
• Unrelated products or services outside MitchCactus

Exploiting the platform

Attempting to exploit bugs, loopholes, rankings, refunds, payment systems, seller features, or other unintended platform behaviour is prohibited.

Harassment or abusive behaviour

Treat buyers, other sellers, and MitchCactus staff professionally.

Threats, harassment, discrimination, excessive abuse, or intentionally hostile behaviour may result in account action.

Handling Disputes ⚖️

If a buyer raises a dispute, you are expected to cooperate with our Resolution Team and respond promptly.

You may be asked to provide:

• Screenshots or videos showing delivery
• Trade or transaction evidence
• Login or account delivery information
• Relevant order-chat messages
• Other evidence relating to the product or service

Provide requested information as quickly as possible.

If you fail to respond or cannot provide reasonable evidence that the order was delivered correctly, MitchCactus may resolve the dispute in the buyer's favour.

Keep delivery evidence

Where possible, sellers should retain clear evidence of successful delivery.

For items, currency, gifting, trades, or similar transactions, this may include screenshots or recordings showing that the correct product and quantity were transferred to the correct buyer.

Feedback & Seller Conduct ⭐

Feedback integrity

Buyer feedback must be respected.

Sellers must not manipulate reviews, pressure buyers into changing legitimate feedback, offer compensation in exchange for reviews, or otherwise attempt to interfere with the feedback system.

Respect other sellers

Do not impersonate, harass, falsely accuse, or deliberately damage the reputation of other MitchCactus sellers.

Healthy competition is encouraged. Manipulation or abuse is not.

Marketplace Listing Rules 🛒

No random or chance-based listings

Listings based on lotteries, raffles, mystery rewards, or random outcomes are not permitted.

For example:

"50% chance to receive a rare skin"

The buyer should know what they are purchasing before placing the order.

Use accurate pricing

Listings must use genuine pricing.

Fake, misleading, or deliberately unrealistic prices designed to manipulate search results or rankings are prohibited.

List products in the correct category

Make sure your listing is placed under the correct:

• Game
• Product category
• Platform
• Region
• Delivery method

Misleading categorisation or keywords may result in the listing being removed.

Use clear and accurate descriptions

Your listing should clearly explain what the buyer receives and any important requirements for delivery.

Do not:

• Misrepresent the product
• Hide important conditions
• Use misleading titles or keywords
• Completely copy another seller's listing

Do not impersonate others

You must not impersonate:

• Another seller
• MitchCactus staff
• MitchCactus itself
• Another company or marketplace

Using names, profile images, branding, or other details intended to confuse buyers about who you are is prohibited.

Seller Requirements ✅

You must be 18+

You must be 18 years of age or older to operate a seller account on MitchCactus.

Complete seller verification

Sellers must complete any required identity verification (KYC) and onboarding requirements before receiving full seller access.

Your seller account must represent the real person or business that has been approved by MitchCactus.

One seller account

Sellers should operate through their approved seller account unless MitchCactus has explicitly authorised another arrangement.

Do not create additional accounts to avoid restrictions, manipulate listings, reviews, rankings, or platform limits.

Safe delivery methods only

You must not use delivery methods that create an unreasonable risk of:

• The buyer losing their purchase
• The buyer's gaming account being compromised
• The product being recovered after delivery
• The buyer receiving penalties because of an unnecessarily risky fulfilment method

Sellers are responsible for using appropriate and reliable delivery methods for the products they offer.

Seller Inactivity 💤

Listings should only remain active when you are genuinely available to fulfil them.

If a seller becomes inactive for an extended period, MitchCactus may temporarily unlist offers to prevent buyers from purchasing products that cannot be delivered.

Continued inactivity may also result in restrictions or suspension of the seller account until the seller returns and confirms they are ready to continue fulfilling orders.

Seller Funds & Fraud Investigations 🔒

MitchCactus may temporarily hold seller funds where necessary to:

• Investigate suspected fraud
• Resolve buyer disputes
• Cover refunds or chargebacks relating to seller activity
• Protect buyers affected by serious seller misconduct

Confirmed fraud or intentional abuse may result in permanent suspension and additional action where appropriate.

Following these rules helps protect your seller account, improves buyer confidence, and gives you the best opportunity to build strong feedback and increase your sales on MitchCactus. 🌵
